Bit of random before the main event

Have you noticed how catfood is generally flavoured after foods you could imagine a cat eating?
Tuna for example. Yeah I can see a cat killing a fish and eating it.
Chicken, yup.
Rabbit, sure, I suppose so.
Turkey, a little exotic perhaps but maybe two cats could take one down...
Beef? O_O How many cats would it take to kill a cow?

Also, today I ate a pear. Om nom nom.

  2. Yes... but cats can kill small fish like ummm pilchards. My point is, cats DO eat fish if left to their own devices and birds. But not cows. It's like making giraffe or human flavoured catfood. Seems inappropriate.

  3. My brother caught a 148kg tuna...catch of the day at Tokyo markets and sold for $34,000USD (yes, I think it's ridiculous too)...and that's not even a huge tuna... frankly, no cat is getting near one of those. Have you also noticed cats don't like to get wet? The only fish they're really gonna catch are the ones that the tide brings in. Neither are they going to actually down a turkey, unless they work in packs, which they don't. Chickens...well maybe the lil baby ones, but most cat lovers don't like to think about that. Rabbits, yeah all the time actually (I've woken up to rabbit bone crunching thanks to many a cat). And the cow is actually more likely than the tuna...because cats DO go into fields...and there might be a dead one lying about...but they don't go deep sea diving :P

Yer such a city slicker :-<
